The T.Ocellus (Trypanohyncha Ocellus) AKA The Eye/Eye Midge or Species 64 from Alien Earth. This is my version of the parasite. It's slightly different from the TV Show. Created in Blender.
The Ocellus is a small creature that is essentially an eyeball with tentacles protruding from underneath it. The eye is able to alter itself to change the number of pupils it possesses; it is able to control living and dead hosts.
A smooth scoleum features several ocular irises and a tentacle system that can grow or retract at will. The tentacles carry extraordinary strength and are built to climb into and dislodge the eyes of other living organisms. Once replaced in the eye socket, T. Ocellus takes over the ocular pathways to the brain, overriding the neuro-transmissions throughout the body. More study is needed to gauge imminent intelligence, though T. Ocellus has shown remarkable problem-solving skills at near-human measure.
